Focus

Dr. Saathoff works for medium-sized, mostly family-owned, companies with a certain emphasis in the commercial areas of the food industry, the chemical industry and international trade. With regard to the substance of work his focus is on the preparation and the enforcement of dismissals and in negotiations and agreements with works councils and trade unions. He drafts contracts for senior management and prepares and advises in matters of change management with respect to labor law issues. Beyond the area of labor law he acts as general counsel for small and medium-sized companies in matters as distribution agreements, project agreements and cooperations.

Dr. Saathoff represents employees in particular in defending them against dismissals. A substantial part of his employee-clients are pilots of commercial airlines. Another focus is on employees from the insurance and trade business. He advises members of senior management in English language regarding all matters of their employment contracts.
